Beautiful engine!

Beautiful engine. High gloss red paint on the cab. Love the lighted numbered boards embedded into the body of the locomotive.. beautiful plated body. Cool functioning Mars light.
Only disappointment on the T&K website and on the box itself MTH says the road number is 55L but in fact that it’s not the case it is just 55. would’ve been cool to have L as part of the lighted boards. which I assume would’ve meant Lead unit which is exactly how I am using it but you Can’t always get what you want but you might get what you need. Quite possible, I just got an mis numbering from MTH manufacturing. I did talk to MTH didn’t have a reasonable explanation except maybe sometimes “ they just pull off those numbers on websites and it may not be the case. “ Whatever that means. if you get a true 55L. feel lucky and special!
